Something from a really good friend

This is a poem from a really good friend of mine. He sent this to me a few days ago when his father died. I just wanted to show you guys and get a nice comment on the poem. I wanted to show you guys this because there is something in this poem i really admire. Just let me know what you think.

To those i'm sorry
to those in the past,
i want to apologize. when we
were together,it was a blast.
but now we're not and my heart has died.
i believe it may have dropped about three sizes on down.

to those i loved, you know i do.
no matter what,i'll be with you through and through.
but since we seperated,no longer together,
i feel like maybe the tether we had just may not weather,
this storm we must sail through in a dingy little boat.
i think if we try, we'll look back and say "this was a joke"

i want to say i love you to those close to me,
and that's every one be it friends stranger or family.
to those i just met,you're already close.
it doesnt take much to grab my heart and get real close
if you really try you can do a lot more, no matter what you decide
if you have fun nothing will ever be a chore.

i know i may have sounded sad when i started this poem,
it started out as just that. just me and what i felt, face to face about to battle,
like a ball about to be hit by a bat. that sounded weird i'm sure
but hopefully through these poems i find peace,love,maybe a cure.
a cure to my loneliness, a cure to my pain,
maybe i'm being crazy like those who walk in the rain.


what am i saying? to everything there's a cure.
if you look hard enough, you'll find it i'm sure.
i'll leave you now with this piece of advice.
if you find someone who loves you,keep them,
and hold them tight.
