Our (no offence capt) he just did not like the yanks and thought stuffem, they could have joined early the war had to get to them some time.

Yeah well, they supplied the Planes , and other supplies , and I note some men did join up on the Brit forces...
So did allot of Canadians...

s hit capt lucky him and you are right there were a lot that joined my dad was in the ww2 he joined the navy as aboy seamen at age 15 and when he was 16 him and 4 others out of 350+ survived a torpedo attack his gun got blownoff the ship they were the only 5 survivours and because he was under 18 our goverment give him nothing but if you were a jap or german and over 18 you get your gold card bloody goverments

my grand father come home at the end of the war also....from a POW camp all *ucked up......

oh he also drank a lot and beat his kids............Such is life it's a shame i never got to meet him i was to young when he died from alcohol.

My step Father lied about his age too and joined the Air Force..
Rear Gunner ..poor Bugger... Lived through..WWII , and Korea ... Shot down over Korea .. made it back aok, but still was carried some staples from a gut wound, just about got cut in half..

His Brother was In the Army .. Sniper Unit Korea.. His CO gave him and another buddie a Rolex watch ,he was on this hill in Korea with the FFL, Viet nam And Both of them made it back.... So the story goes..with the col. Jeep .. :]']

That would make it the third Time My stepfather was a Gunner Sgt.  hahaha

I was the first son of three, to be a officer , Boy was i a 90 Day Wonder,  pretty much a dirt bag,
Butter Bar.. Who'd thunk it ..

I still have one step brother in the Air force...
But I'm the Only one that Picked the Best..  oo'rah!
