Disabling windows live search in firefox 3

have you noticed that if you have installed any MS "Live" products lately that when you search that you are redirected from google to Live searches results
Microsoft has given itself the rights to mess with Firefox's settings without asking your permission.
To fix this problem - in the address bar type "aboutconfig"
this will bring up the Firefox config page (be warned do not fiddle here cause you will break something"
find the "browser.search.defaultenginename"
right click and select "Reset"
Now what I also did was scan up and down for any more areas (in the riht hand column that had anything to do with Live Search and reset those as well to mind I think there was two others.
Remember just be careful what you do
you can google "how to disable windows live search" for more info
good move actually then I don't get in the shiat that way
or you can check with ADF-Bungy/ADF-Sniper They are the wizzes
Its bloody annoying how MS does these things
